About The Event
Welcome to the first of our Bibury Literary Festivals. When a new Litfest is announced, the first question is always, ‘Why? Surely there are enough?’
This one is slightly different, its aim almost more to bring people together than to introduce them to books – well, one of the reasons people come to a literary festival is because they already love books. With Bibury and its environs stuffed with intelligent people and achievers - you will hear some of our local writers talking when you come to the festival - there is already a high number of book-lovers in the Cotswolds.
For those who perhaps don’t read so much, it is a chance to hear why others do and, possibly, learn how to try your hand yourself – the last session of the day which we hope, with the aid of wine and canapés, will turn into a bit o…
