Biblit Extra - Sandra Howard

We are delighted and honoured that Sandra Howard has chosen Bibury to launch her latest novel, Love at War.  

The evening will start with drinks and nibbles and the Caroline Harrowby will interview Sandra and discuss this latest novel.

This novel, which is based on a true story, follows the loves and losses of a young woman, Laura Jameson, who leaves her home in Edinburgh early in World War II to chase after a young man, Harry Werner, whom she has fallen for. He had gone out to Uganda with the Colonial Forest Service, but has now joined the King’s African Rifles (KAR) to play his part in the war.
